Project interest:
I wanted to create a project of my own. The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners are in the process of implementing technology into one of its initial conference rooms. Currently the room only houses a conference table and seating with minimal technology. My primary duty would be to implement technology into these conference rooms which would include products such as a wireless network, LCD projectors, LCD Screens, Smart Boards, Voice/Audio System, network printing and possibly phone conferencing and video recording. Implementation would require contacting companies (preferably local) with available products, negotiating prices/deals and viewing working models before deployment. After the products have been delivered it would be my responsibility to setup the equipment or have it setup by a trained professional. Then after the products have been setup it is my responsibility to learn how to use the basic functions of the products so that I can train IT staff and other administration staff.
